formerly a Jewish rabbi at Barr in Poland, who joined the Church in 1712 at Heilbronn, was professor of Hebrew at Jena and Tubingen. He is the author of a Hebrew grammar, entitled סֻכִּת דָּוַד, "the booth of David." It was published with a German translation and a preface by Chr. M. Pfaff (Wittenberg, 1722). See Furst, Bibl.
