a Sicilian theologian and philosopher, of the Franciscan order, was born at Catana in 1599. He travelled for a long time, and taught philosophy at Cracow, and in several cities of Italy. He died May 18, 1676. He wrote several philosophical treatises in Latin, at first published separately, but afterwards republished in two vols., under the title, Philosophies ad Lenten Scoti cursus Integer (Venice, 1678 and 1727).
