a German Reformed minister, was born July 14, 1810, at Bremerlehe, kingdom of Hanover, in North Germany, and emigrated to America in 1833. He was licensed to preach by the Classis of West Pennsylvania, at Pittsburg, and ordained to the ministry, April 30, 1834. From this time until 1836, he served several congregations in Ohio. He continued in this field of labor for four years, when he re moved to .Wayhe County, O., and there took charge of nine congregations. In 1843, he preached at Columbus for a Germain congregation. His health failing him, he was obliged to give up his charge. He removed to Mansfield in 1845, where he continued about two years. He died of epilepsy at Columbus, Sept. 4, 1848.
