a French theologian amid hagiographer, was born at Auxonne, Jan. 14, 1637. He was in 1673 procurator-general of the Order-of the Cordeliers of Dijon. He died at his native place, Jan. 30, 1708. He wrote, Praxis Recollectionis Animce ‘(Paris, Degollier, 1686): — La Grand-Messe et la Maniere de l Entendre et d'y Assister Saintement (Lyons, 1687): — Eclaircissements sur la Sainte Messe (ibid. 1688): — Abreg de la Vie de Saint Jean Capistran, etc. (ibid. 1698).
