a Jewish rabbi, who died at Mantua in 1743, is the author of סֵ אֶמוּנִת חֲכָמַים . or a philosophy of Judaism (Mantua, 1730; Lemberg, 1858), in which he defends Judaism against Greek andi Christian philosophers.
