a Jacobite patriarch in the 9th century, is the author of Epistola Synodica de SS. Imaginibus ad Theophilum. Ed. Gr. Lat. Combefisii Manipulus Origg. Rerumque Constantinopolitan (Paris, 1664), an epistle addressed to the emperor Theophilus, on account of his severe edict against the image- worshippers.
