(Βαρθενώς ) is given by Epiphanius (i, 82 d) as the name of the wife of Noah, meaning probably the daughter of AEnos, as other ancient authorities state that the patriarch married Haikal, the daughter of Abarez of the sons of Enos (Dittmann, Conflict of Adam, p. 98, 141).
