a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Herkimer County, N. Y., in 1795. He professed conversion in his youth, and in 1827 joined the Genesee Conference. In 1836 he became a member of the Black River Conference; was superannuate between 1837 and 1847; re-entered the effective lists in 1848; again was superaniuate in 1849, and sustained that relation until his decease, May 12, 1863.
