a French theologian, was born in 1759. After studying at the abbey of Bellelai, he became a regular canon of that abbey, and there taught mathematics and belles-lettres. During the Revolution, the school was broken up, and he travelled in Germany, but afterwards returned. He died April 1, 1824.
