an Italian theologian, was born at Bologna. He was an ardent papist at the period in which the papal power began to decline, and was, with his father, banished in 1334. In his exile he wrote a moral poem entitled Trattata delle Virtu Morali, dedicated to Robert, king of Naples. A commentary upon the Divina Commedia of Dante is attributed to him. He died before 1348.
