a Presbyterian minister, graduated at Yale. In 1763 he was assigned by the synod to the Presbytery of Dutchess County. He was dismissed from his charge at Bedford in December, 1768, and in 1772 resumed it and remained till 1784. Having spent four years at Amity, in Woodbridge, Conn., he removed with a part of the Bedford Congregation, in i788, to Saratoga County. The settlement is known as Ballston. He died in 1797.
