a Presbyterian minister, was born in Hartford County, Md., April 5, 1747. He was educated at the College of New Jersey, where he graduated ill 1774. He was licensed to preach by the Donegal Presbytery in 1779, and spent several months in travelling as a missionary in the South. He died Sept. 7, 1833. See Sprague, Annals of the Amer.
