a French engraver, was born at Lyons in 1667. He was the brother of Benoit, and the second son of Germain Audran. In 1707 he was appointed engraver to the king, with apartments in the Gobelins.. He gained a high reputation, and died in 1756. The following are some of his chief sacred works after various masters: Our Saviour in the Bark Preaching; The Infant Saviour Regarding the Cross Presented by Angels; The Miracle of the Loaves; The Resurrection of Lazarus; The Resurrection of Christ; The Descent from the Cross; The Disciples at Emmaus.
