a Congregational minister, was born at New Haven, Conn. He graduated at Yale College in 1774, where he was a tutor from 1778 to 1781. He was ordained pastor of the Church in Westfield, Mass., Nov. 21,1781. His last sermon was preached on the twentieth anniversary of his ordination, and was published.
