Ascodruglitm (or Ascodrobes)
a sect at Ancyra, in Galatia, described by Philastrius (Haer. 75) as setting and covering an inflated wine - skin in their churches, and dancing wildly round it in. Bacchanalian fashion. He has also been understood as saying that the Ascodrugitae grounded their practice on Matthew 9:17; but he alone is responsible for the reference.
