a Jewish teacher, who died Sept. 22, 1870, at Glogau, is the author of, Leiffaden beim Unterricht in der mos. Religion (Glogau,: 1830):Das Buch Job ubersetzt, und commentirt (ibid. 1836). Besides the translation of Job, he also contributed to the German translation of the Old Test. which was edited by Zunz (Berlin, 1838); translated and edited the Jewish ritual, and is the author of a Hebrew Grammar, edited by D.
