an Italian friar of the Franciscan Order, was born in 1553. He filled various positions, particularly that of confessor of Ferdinand T, grand-duke of Tuscany. His sermons were eloquent, and he wrote several theological works. He died in 1616. The following works have reached several editions: Summa Theologies Specukltive .et Moralis, ac Commentaria Scholastica in Tertium et Quartum Sententiarum Liblrum Joannis Duns Scoti (Venice, 1581, 1613, 1616, 1619) :-Criminale Canonicumn (ibid. 1617; Perugia, 1669).
