a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Reedsborough, Vt., Oct. 10, 1794, of pious parents, who gave him a careful religious training. He experienced conversion about 1811, and in 1814 entered the New York Conference, in which he labored diligently until arrested by disease in 1829, when he retired to his residence at Watervliet Circuit, where he died, March 21, 1830.
