a learned Maronite, who flourished about the year 1240, is said to be the author of An Exposition of the Apocalypse, written in Arabic; An Exposition of the Four Gospels; An Exposition of the Gospel of St. John; An Exposition of the Lord's Prayer; An Exposition of the Nicene Creed; and Magma Osuteldin, or on the Christian faith. Nothing has as yet been published from the Arabic manuscript found in the National Library at Paris. The first of these works is often quoted by Abraham Ecchelensis, and a copy of the same is said to be in the library of the Maronite College at Rome.
