Un "necio" en las Escrituras nunca es una persona mentalmente deficiente, sino más bien arrogante y autosuficiente; uno que ordena su vida como si no hubiera Dios. Para obtener una ilustración, consulte ( Lucas 12:16). El rico no era deficiente mental, pero era un "tonto" porque suponía que su alma podía vivir de las cosas del granero, sin pensar en su bienestar eterno.
