מְרִיא (from the root מָרָא) adj. fat, well-fed, Ezekiel 39:18 hence subst. well-fed cattle; specially a fatted calf, μόσχος σιτευτός. Commonly joined with the words שׁוֹר and בָּקָר֙. 2 Samuel 6:13; 1 Kings 1:9, 19 1 Kings 1:19, 25 1 Kings 1:25; Isaiah 11:6. Plur. מְרִיאִים Isaiah 1:11; Amos 5:22.
