And because lawlessness is multiplied, most people's love will grow cold.

Then Jesus *said to them, "You will all fall away because of Me this night, for it is written, ‘I will strike down the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered.'

But Peter answered and said to Him, "Even though all may fall away because of You, I will never fall away."

For he knew that because of envy they had delivered Him over.

and they have no root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away.

But when the grain is ripe, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come."

because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him.
