Because he knew no justice himself, he shall not be spared by his covetousness.

For although he had escaped because of the breastplate of iron, the bow of brass shall pierce him through.

What do you profit by trying to make it seem that your ways are perfect because you are afraid?

If they are not prostrated because of their stubbornness, then their remnant shall be consumed with fire.

Because I was not silenced before the darkness, and before the covering of the blackness.

And if it is not because of his anger, then who will make me a liar, and make my speech worth nothing before God?

Because only God understands the way of it, and he knows the place thereof.

Because I delivered the poor out of distress, and the fatherless who had none to help him.

(Because from my youth I was brought up in sorrows, and from my mothers womb with sighing);

For the fear of God made me to tremble, and affliction from him came upon me, and because of terror I was unable to rise up.

If I have rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because my hand had gotten much;

SO these three men who wanted to condemn Job ceased answering him, because he was found righteous in their eyes.

Then Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was angry; so his wrath against Job kindled, because he justified himself more than God.

His wrath also kindled against his three friends, because they had found no answer to Job so that they might condemn him.

Now Elihu had waited to correct Job with words, because the other men were older than he.

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, Because I am younger than you in days and you are old, therefore I was afraid, and did not dare to show you my knowledge.

So that his flesh fails because of his fear, and his soul is not satisfied with bread, and covets food.

His flesh is wasted away because of his fear, so that a greater part of his bones can he seen.

For he has said that a man is not justified because he fears God.
