Then the earth shook and quaked;And the foundations of the mountains were tremblingAnd were shaken, because He was angry.

He brought me forth also into a broad place;He rescued me, because He delighted in me.

"Commit yourself to Yahweh; let Him rescue him;Let Him deliver him, because He delights in him."

Because they do not regard the works of YahwehNor the deeds of His hands,He will tear them down and not build them up.

Blessed be Yahweh,Because He has heard the voice of my supplications.

I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness,Because You have seen my affliction;You have known the troubles of my soul,

For my life is worn down with sorrowAnd my years with sighing;My strength fails because of my iniquity,And my bones waste away.

For our heart is glad in Him,Because we trust in His holy name.

Do not fret because of evildoers,Be not envious toward doers of unrighteousness.

Be still in Yahweh and wait patiently for Him;Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,Because of the man who carries out schemes of wickedness.

When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong,Because Yahweh is the One who sustains his hand.

Yahweh helps them and protects them;He protects them from the wicked and saves them,Because they take refuge in Him.

There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your indignation;There is no health in my bones because of my sin.

I am faint and badly crushed;I groan because of the agitation of my heart.

For I confess my iniquity;I am full of anxiety because of my sin.

I have become mute, I do not open my mouth,Because it is You who have done it.

Remove Your plague from me;Because of the opposition of Your hand I am wasting away.

Let those be appalled because of their shameWho say to me, "Aha, aha!"

By this I know that You delight in me,Because my enemy makes no shout in triumph over me.

I say to God my rock, "Why have You forgotten me?Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?"
