יָקַץ used only in fut. יִיקַץ, יִקַץ, once וַיִּקֶץ Genesis 9:24 to awake, to be aroused, Genesis 28:16, 41:4, Genesis 41:7. For the preterite is used the form הֵקִיץ Hiphil, from קוּץ. (Arab. يقظ id.)
