Passive to be wondered at, to be had in admiration (Sir. 38:3; Wis. 8:11; 4 Macc. 18:3), followed by ἐν with the dative of the person whose lot and condition gives matter for wondering at another, 2 Thessalonians 1:10; ἐν with the dative of the thing, Isaiah 61:6.
