(Strong's #5499 — Adjective — cheiropoietos — khi-rop-oy'-ay-tos )

"made by hand," of human handiwork (cheir, and poieo, "to make"), is said of the temple in Jerusalem, Mark 14:58; temples in general, Acts 7:48 (RV, "houses"); 17:24; negatively, of the heavenly and spiritual tabernacle, Hebrews 9:11; of the holy place in the earthly tabernacle, Hebrews 9:24; of circumcision, Ephesians 2:11 . In the Sept., of idols, Leviticus 26:1,30; Isaiah 2:18; 10:11; 16:12; 19:1; 21:9; 31:7; 46:6 .

2: ἀχειροποίητος

(Strong's #886 — Adjective — acheiropoietos — akh-i-rop-oy'-ay-tos )

"not made by hands" (a, negative, and No. 1), is said of an earthly temple, Mark 14:58; of the resurrection body of believers, metaphorically as a house, 2 Corinthians 5:1; metaphorically, of spiritual circumcision, Colossians 2:11 . This word is not found in the Sept.
