Qal Imperfect 3 masculine singular יָרֹק Leviticus 15:8, with ב of person spit upon. — compare יָרִק.
רָקַק prop. to beat, to pound, specially, to spread out by beating, to make thin. Arabic intrans. رقّ to be thin. (Cognate roots are רָקַד, רָקַע which have the primary sense of pounding, and רָקַב, רָקַח, which have that of making small.)

רָקַק i.q. יָרַק to spit, to spit out, (An onomatopoetic root, like the cogn. רוּק, compare Lat. screo.) Followed by בְּ to spit upon any one, Leviticus 15:8 (fut. יָרֹק).
