יֶרֶק m. greenness. כָּל־יֶרֶק עֵשֶׂב all greenness of herb, Genesis 1:30, 9:3. יֶרֶק דֶּשֶׁא greenness of grass, i.e. green grass, Psalms 37:2. Elsewhere concr. anything green (das Grüne), of the fields and trees, Exodus 10:15; Numbers 22:4; Isaiah 15:6.
