חֹק m. followed by Makk. חָק־, with suff. חֻקִּי, but חָקְךָ Leviticus 10:13 חָקְכֶם Exodus 5:14 plur. חֻקִּים, constr. חֻקֵּי and חוּקֵּי Ezekiel 20:18, properly that which is established or definite (from the root חָקַק No. 3), e.g. חֻקִּי that which is appointed for me, Job 23:14. Specially
(a) an appointed portion of labour, a task, Exodus 5:14; Proverbs 31:15 of food, Proverbs 30:8.
