ἐμπαίζω is used = ";delude,"; as in Matthew 2:16 (cf. Jeremiah 10:15), in Anth. Pal. x. 56. 2 τοῖς ἐμπαιζομένοις ἄνδρασι ταῦτα λέγω. Cf. Vett. Valens p. 16.14 ἐμπαιζομένων ἀνθρώπων.
