Todo el pasaje ( Ezequiel 34:23) habla de una restauración aún futura, porque el remanente que regresó después de los 70 años, y su posteridad, estuvieron continuamente bajo el yugo gentil, hasta que, en el año 70 d. C., finalmente fueron expulsados de la tierra a una dispersión que aún continúa.
