שׁוֺלָל see שׁלל.
שׁוּל an unused root; Arab. سَالَ Med. Waw, to be loose, pendulous (specially, the belly); compare ذال to drag the train of one’s robe (used of a woman). Hence
שׁוּל m.
(1) the train, flowing skirt of a robe, i.q. שֹׁבֶלּ Isaiah 6:1. גִּלָּה שׁוּלִים to uncover the skirt, i.e. to expose to the greatest shame, Jeremiah 13:22, 26 Jeremiah 13:26; Nahum 3:5.
(2) hem of a garment, Exodus 28:33, 34 Exodus 28:34.
