Aphel הֲתִיב to restore, to return, Ezra 6:5. הֲתִיב פִּתְגָּם i.q. Heb. הֵשִׁיב דָּבָר to answer, followed by an acc. of pers. Ezra 5:11; Daniel 3:16 (as to the passage Daniel 2:14, see עֵטָא ). ה׳ נִשְׁתְּוָנָא to return an epistle, to reply by letters, Ezra 5:5.
