Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

עֲדִי (from the root עָדָה) in pause עֶדִי, with suff. עֶדְיִי m.

(1)  age, Psalms 103:5 (Targ. old age); opp. to נְעוּרִים; see the root No. 1; compare עַד A, 1.

(2) ornament (see the root No. 3), Exodus 33:4, Exodus 33:6; Jeremiah 4:30. עֲדִי עֲדָיִים most splendid ornament, Ezekiel 16:7. Used of the ornaments of a horse, trappings, Psalms 32:9.
