 סָ֑ס noun masculine moth (ᵑ7סָסָא, Syriac ; Assyrian sâsu, Dl HWB 506; Arabic , ; Ethiopic Thes Lag Armen. Stud. § 2262 compare Armenian zez = Greek σής, which is derived from סָס by Bo Hieroz. iii. 514 Lewy Fremdw. 16f.); — וְכַצֶּמֶר יאֹכְלֵם סָ֑ס Isaiah 51:8.
