מָשׂוֹשׂ m. (from the root שׂוּשׂ), gladness, joy, Isaiah 24:8; Lamentations 5:15 and meton. the object and ground of joy, Psalms 48:3; Isaiah 24:11, 32:14 65:18 and frequently. Isaiah 8:6, subst. poet., put for a finite verb.
