[כּוֺר] noun [masculine] kôr, a measure of wheat (Biblical Hebrew כֹּר); — plural absolute כּוֺרִין Ezra 7:22.
כֹּר m. cor, a measure, both of dry and liquid things, 1 Kings 5:2; Ezekiel 45:14, containing ten ephahs or baths, i.q. חֹמֶר. (The Arameans commonly use כּוֹר, ܟܘܽܪܳܐ for the Hebrew חֹמֶר. The Hellenists also adopted κόρος.) The origin of this word is in its round form, and כֹּר appears properly to signify a round vessel. See the root כָּרַר.
