יְגִיעַ (from the root יָגַע) m.
(1) labour, toil, especially that which is wearisome, and thus grief (Job 39:11). Genesis 31:42, יְגִיעַ כַּפַּי “the labour of my hands.”
(2) product of labour, hence work done, Job 10:3 more often riches, wealth. Isaiah 45:14, 55:2 Jeremiah 3:24, 20:5 Ezekiel 23:29; Psalms 109:11; Nehemiah 5:13 especially that which arises from agriculture, Psalms 78:46, 128:2. יְגִיעַ כַּפַּיִם Haggai 1:11, id.
