בֶּשֶׂם Exodus 30:23, and בֹּשֶׂם m.
(1) a sweet smell, especially such as spices emit, Syr. ܒܶܣܡܳܐ spice, Isaiah 3:24 קִנְּמָן־בֶּשֶׂם sweet smelling cinnamon, Ex. loc. cit.; pl. Song of Solomon 4:16.
(2) spice itself, 1 Kings 10:10; Exodus 35:28; Ezekiel 27:22 pl. בְּשָׂמִים spices, Exodus 25:6, 35:8 הָרֵי בְשָׂמִים mountains abounding in spices, Song of Solomon 8:14.
