συνέρχομαι, fut. -ελεύσομαι Plu. 2.306e, Phintys ap. Stob. 4.23.61; but the Att. fut. is σύνειμι (εἶμι ibo), q. v., with aor. 2 συνῆλθον (Dor. part. συνενθόντες Abh.Berl.Akad. 1925(5).21 (Cyrene)) and pf. συνελήλυθα: — go together or in company, σύν τε δύ' ἐρχομένω Il. 10.224.

";wretched,"; ";miserable,"; is found in P Par 63.132 (B.C. 164) (=P Petr III. p. 30) τ ̣ῶν μὲν ταλαιπώρων λαῶν. . . φει ̣σε ̣σθε, ";you must spare the miserable populace"; (Mahaffy), P Hawara 56.9 (probably late i/A.D.) (= Archiv v. p. 382) περὶ τῆς ταλαιπώρου [, and P Hamb I. 88.10 (mid. ii/A.D.) γράφεις μοι περὶ τῶν χρεωστῶν τοῦ ταλαιπώρου Ἰου ̣[λ ]ιανοῦ. The word occurs also in the Jewish prayers for vengeance for the innocent blood of the two Jewish girls, Heraklea and Marthina, who were murdered in Rheneia (Magna Delos), Syll 816 (= .3 1181).5 ἐπικαλοῦμαι. . . ἐπὶ τοὺς. . . φαρμακεύσαντας τὴν ταλαίπωρον ἄωρον Ἡράκλεαν, now usually dated about B.C. 100 (see Deissmann LAE2, p. 413 ff.).
