* Note: In Mark 2:22 , apollumi, "to destroy, perish," is found in the most authentic mss. as applying both to the wine and the wine skins, RV, "perisheth;" the AV follows the mss. which tell of the wine being "spilled" (ekcheo, "to pour out"), and the skins (AV, "bottles") being "marred."
