Convenient, Conveniently
Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words
lit., "well-timed" (eu, "well," kairos, "a time, season"), hence signifies "timely, opportune, convenient;" it is said of a certain day, Mark 6:21; elsewhere, Hebrews 4:16 , "in time of need." See NEED. Cp. eukairia, "opportunity," Matthew 26:16; Luke 22:6; eukaireo, "to have opportunity," Mark 6:31; Acts 17:21 ("they spent their time," marg. "had leisure for nothing else"); 1 Corinthians 16:12 . See OPPORTUNITY , NEED , C, Note.
"conveniently," Mark 14:11 , is used elsewhere in 2 Timothy 4:2 , "in season." See SEASON , C.
is rendered "befitting" in Ephesians 5:4 , for AV, "convenient;" so in Philemon 1:8 . See BEFIT.
"to be fitting," is so translated in Romans 1:28 , RV; AV, "(not) convenient;" in Acts 22:22 , "it is (not) fit." See FIT.
