תֹּאַר with suff. תֹּאֲרוֹ (for תָּֽֽאֳרוֹ), תָּאֳרָם m., form of body, 1 Samuel 28:14; Lamentations 4:8. יְפַת תֹּאַר, יְפֵה beautiful of form; commonly used of persons, Genesis 29:17, 39:6 and of animals, Genesis 41:18, 19 Genesis 41:19. Specially a beautiful form, Isaiah 53:2; 1 Samuel 16:18, אִישׁ תֹּאַר “a man of form,” i.e. formosus, beautiful.
