 יִתְרוֺן noun [masculine] advantage, profit, only Ecclesiastes; — absolute Ecclesiastes 1:3 4t.; construct Ecclesiastes 2:13 4t.; — advantage to (ל) any one, מַהיִֿתְרוֺן לָאָדָם Ecclesiastes 1:3, i.e. what advantage hath a man ? יִתְרוֹן m.

(1)  gain, profit, emolument, what one has over and above, Ecclesiastes 1:3, 2:11 3:9 5:8, 15 10:10 [“Syriac ܝܘܰܬܪܳܢܐܳ gain”].

(2) pre-eminence, followed by מִן Ecclesiastes 2:13.
