It precedes its verb, Psalm 47:10 מְאֹד נַעֲלָה (hence Psalm 97:9), Psalm 92:6.

מְאֹד
(1) subst. m. strength, force, from the root אוּד No. 3. Deuteronomy 6:5, “and thou shalt love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, with all thy mind, וּבְכֹל מְאֹדֶךָ and with all thy strength,” i.e. in the highest degree; 2 Kings 23:25 (compare Luke 10:27). (b) עַד מְאֹד even to force, i.e. in a very great degree; very, Genesis 27:33; 1 Kings 1:4; Daniel 8:8 quite, altogether, Psalms 119:8 too much, Isaiah 64:8.

Emphatically doubled מְאֹד מְאֹד Genesis 7:19; Numbers 14:7.- Psalms 46:2, עֶזְרָה בְעָרוֹת נִמְצָא מְאֹד “(he is) an aid in distresses to be found greatly,” i.e. he is found a strong aid.
