יַד Ch. emph. יְדָא Daniel 5:5, 24 with suff. יָדְךְ, יְדֵהּ, יֶדְהֶם, Ezra 5:8. Dual יְדַיִן Daniel 2:34, 45, i.q. Heb. יָד hand. מִן יַד from the hand, i.e. the power after a verb of liberating (compare Heb. מִיַּד), e.g. from the hand of the lions, Daniel 6:28. As to Ezra 7:14, 25 Ezra 7:25, compare Heb.
