צְלַח Ch. i.q. Heb. צָלַח, Aphel הַצְלַח (Heb. form)
(1) trans. to cause any one to go on well, i.e. to promote quickly to public offices and honour (fchnell avanciren, fein Glück machen laffen), Daniel 3:30 to accomplish anything prosperously, Ezra 6:14.
(2) to be prospered, i.e. to be raised to great honours, Daniel 6:29 to be prospered as a thing, Ezra 5:8.
