Qal Perfect 3 plural מָּֽצְחוּ רִנָּה Isaiah 14:7 they have broken forth with joyous shout; Imperfect יִפְצְחוּ רִנָּה Isaiah 55:12 (of mountains); Imperative feminine singular מִּצְחִי רִנָּה Isaiah 54:1 (of Zion); masculine plural ׳מִּצְחוּ ר Isaiah 44:23; Isaiah 49:13 Qr (> Kt יפצחו; of mountains); absolute מִּצְחוּ Isaiah 52:9; Psalm 98:4 (both + רַנְּנוּ).

(1). to break, Arab. فضخ, Eth. ፊጽሐ፡ to be cleft in pieces; see Piel.
(2) פָּצַח רִנָּה erumpere jubila (Terent. comp. erumpere stomachum, Cic., rumpere questus, Virg., ῥὴξαι φωνήν, Demosth.), to break out into joy, Isaiah 14:7, 44:23 49:13 54:1 55:12. Elsewhere פָּצַח וְרִנֵּז Isaiah 52:9; Psalms 98:4. (Eth. ተፊሥሐ፡ to rejoice.)
