פִּנָּה fem. (from the masc. פֵּן, which see)
(1) a corner, Proverbs 7:12, 21:9, and frequently. רֹאשׁ פִּנָּה Psalms 118:22, and אֶבֶן פִּנָּה Job 38:6, a corner stone.
(2) a mural tower, such as were erected on the corners of walls, 2 Chronicles 26:15; Zephaniah 1:16.
(3) Metaph. used of a prince of a people, who is their defence, Isaiah 19:13; Zechariah 10:4; 1 Samuel 14:38; Judges 20:2. Compare מָגֵן, בַּדִּים.
